→  learn more about using the blog

This page is already configured to connect to your blog and start pulling content that you post. The only section you need to edit here is the about section at the bottom. To utilize the featured articles section, you will tag your posts with the 'featured' tag. The latest 3 posts will display in the top featured articles section and bottom must reads section. If you want different posts to display in the must reads section, you can use a different tag. Just tag your posts with that tag and change it in the canvas settings to match. You also want to manually link your blog categories in the categories navigation.

I have also tested this design and found the perfect blog settings to ensure there is no overlapping of any kind. Follow these steps to set up your blog for best optimization:

  1. Go to your Wordpress admin > Settings > Reading.
  2. Make sure your home page is set to a static page and your posts page is set to the blog page.
  3. Set your blog pages to show 9 and save the changes. If you would like to showcase more or less, you can do so, but keep the layout in mind and count the appropriate amount.
